XMOS to employ more engineers at its Chennai, India centre

UK-based silicon chip and technology solutions vendor XMOS said it is planning to grow its operations worldwide in 2014 on the back of very strong revenue growth and following the addition of $14m in new equity funding from a combination of London and Silicon Valley based investors. XMOS is expanding its sales offices worldwide (more in China) and also development resources.

Along with expanding its number of engineers at its development centre in Bristol UK, XMOS is also to employ more number of engineers and its development centre in Chennai, India.

XMOS said it will also recruit additional systems engineers with expertise in audio, video, advanced motor-control, motion-control, and real-time communications, as part of a continued expansion of the company’s portfolio of xSOFTip software IP components.
