Marvell's co-founder Ms. Weili Dai appointed to GSA Board

Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) appointed Ms. Weili Dai to its Board of Directors. Ms. Dai is a co-founder and serves as president of fabless semiconductor company Marvell Technology Group. She also serves as a member of Marvell’s Board of Directors.

“I am honored to serve on GSA’s Board of Directors and work alongside an outstanding group of technology leaders dedicated to continuing to accelerate the growth of the global semiconductor industry,” said Ms. Weili Dai. “Marvell has been an active member of GSA since 1999 and I am very proud of the role that the Alliance plays in bringing together companies in partnership for the benefit of the entire ecosystem. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow board members to drive forward the GSA’s initiatives across the globe.”

Forbes Magazine lists Ms. Dai as one of the “World’s 100 Most Powerful Women,” for the fourth year in a row. In addition, Newsweek named Ms. Dai one of the “150 Women Who Shake the World”.

“It is a great honor to have Weili join the GSA Board of Directors,” said Jodi Shelton, president of the GSA. “GSA will greatly benefit from her leadership, insight and experience on addressing and overcoming important global issues in our society, including the encouragement and promotion of education and technology innovation to better the human condition.”
