NIT Delhi makes its certificates and mark-sheets unforgeable

National Institute of Technology, Delhi(NIT) has implemented its educational documents unforgeable, where all its certificates and mark sheets issued by the institute will now carry a secure code which prevents their forgery. Validation of these documents can be done by any person using a smartphone using an app which works offline.

NIT Delhi used Authenticate’s solution which works by encrypting the important data of a document into a highly secured two-dimensional barcode which then becomes a part of the document. This barcode contains the original data encrypted using highly complex algorithms, making the document unforgeable.

Singapore based Authenticate offers technology to encrypt the content of documents into a highly secure code which when placed on a document makes it unforgeable.
