Smartphone growth story in 2014 is as good as 2013

TrendForce reported the smart phone shipments are expected to reach 322 million in the third quarter of 2014, up 13% on quarter, and see flat shipment growth on year in the fourth quarter, while overall shipments in 2014 will reach 1.2 billion, up 29.2% on year.

Though the growth continues, the vendors ranking in this market is fast changing. In China Xiaomi is top supplier and in India Micromax beats Samsung.

Can Apple's innovation change the market? We got to wait and see until Apple releases its new product.
