IHS has reported the global market for AC-DC and DC-DC power supplies revenue to expand to US$25.1 billion in 2018, up from US$21.6 billion in 2014, an increase by US$3.5 Billion. Where as from 2010 to 2013, the power supply revenue grew by less than $1.0 billion.
Power supplies for light-emitting diode (LED) lighting and media tablets are creating demand. Cellphone power supplies is also another growth factor.
