The winners of 2013 Global Semiconductor Alliance awards

Below are the semiconductor industry awards given by Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) for year 2013.

Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award was given Dr. Sehat Sutardja, CEO and Chairman, Marvell, and Ms. Weili Dai, President and Co-founder of Marvell. Marvell is known for designing wiress ICs and SoC for networking, and communication.

Most Respected Emerging Public Semiconductor Company Achieving $100 million to $250 million in annual sales Award won by InvenSense, Inc. Most Respected Public Semiconductor Company achieving $251 million to $1 billion in annual sales Award is won by Silicon Labs, and Most Respected Public Semiconductor Company achieving greater than $1 billion in annual sales Award was given to QUALCOMM Incorporated.

Aquantia Corporation is selected for The Most Respected Private Company Award.
InvenSense has won one more in the section of Best Financially Managed Company achieving up to $500 Million in annual sales Award.
Best Financially Managed Semiconductor Company achieving greater than $500 million in annual sales was awarded to Semtech Corporation.

The interesting Start-Up to Watch Award won by Quantenna Communications, Inc.

Regionwise awards for 2013 “Outstanding Asia-Pacific Semiconductor Company Award” is given to MediaTek Inc. and “Outstanding EMEA Semiconductor Company Award” is won by NXP Semiconductors.

Analyst award named “Favorite Analyst Semiconductor Company Award.” is won by Ambarella, which was selected by semiconductor financial analyst Joseph Moore from Morgan Stanley.
Another semiconductor financial analyst Quinn Bolton from Needham & Company has selected MaxLinear Inc. as another winner of “Favorite Analyst Semiconductor Company Award.”
