Mutual capacitance method capacitive touch sensing IP for high-rel mobile

Renesas developed new capacitive touch sensing IP suitable for home appliances, and medical electronics equipment, such as blood pressure and blood glucose meters. The IP support high sensitivity and high-noise immunity. This IP also features mutual capacitance method which is more reliable and versatile than the common self-capacitance method.

The new IP can be used for other applications too where longevity and reliability are required, such as factory automation (FA) and home security.

Samples of Renesas Electronics' MCUs incorporating the new static capacitive touch panel IP will be available during the fiscal year 2014.
