An embedded software developer app store for VxWorks RTOS

Embedded software specialist Wind River has introduced an app store for its popular real-time operating system (RTOS) VxWorks to help its customers to find and evaluate add-on solutions from the Wind River partner ecosystem.

The apps tested for seamless interoperability with VxWorks. The apps for safety, security, and storage to connectivity, graphics, and also development tools can be found at market place. Typical app store experiences such as “try-before-buy”, easy installation and evaluation of complementary software helps VxWorks customers. Marketplace also offer board support packages (BSPs) in the embedded software industry to aid with board bring-up and design.
