Telit Wireless enter into strategic alliance with Thiagarajar Telekom

M2M module and technology export Telit Wireless Solutions has entered into a strategic alliance with Madurai (Tamil Nadu), India based Thiagarajar Telekom Solutions Limited (TTSL). TTSL to provide Telit customers antenna design & development and Testing services. TTSL offers microwave and RF design services in the areas of space, defense, vehicular tracking and in-building solutions. Telit's customers can save design resources by using services provided by TTSL.

"Since antenna performance is one of the key aspects of seamless wireless communication of m2m modules, this alliance would be of immense help for customers seeking to ensure optimal performance and compliance for their m2m devices by utilizing TTSL’s customer specific antenna design & development and RF testing services." stated in the press release by the Telit

According to Mr. T. Kannan, Director, TTSL “Antenna performance is very critical for a successful wireless product design. If the antenna is not well-tuned, customers can face interference during communication with the modules and poor antenna performance can lead to communication failure of m2m networks. At TTSL, we not only provide customers design and development services, but also provide precertification-level testing facilities. TTSL has expertise in providing end-to-end solutions for all antenna design & testing requirements. This would be a major benefit to Telit customers.”

Mr. Ashish Gulati, Country Manager Telit India added “This partnership with TTSL is a significant step for Telit towards providing customer-oriented services and strengthening its position in the Indian market.” Mr. Gulati added “TTSL’s proven experience and expertise in antenna design and testing services will help our customers get access to hi-tech labs and training services at the best possible cost.”

TTSL has the necessary infrastructure supporting measurements related to far-field antenna.
