Fairchild appoints new SVP for its power sys group

Fairchild semiconductor has appointed Gaurang Shah to the position of Senior Vice President of the newly formed Power Systems Group.

Gaurang Shah was vice president and general manager at Texas Instruments where he was handling biz related to battery management, audio, imaging and high voltage products. Gaurang Shah had also worked as a business manager and product designer at Maxim prior to TI.
