Vishay India presented distributor awards

Vishay Intertechnology India has presented its Distributor Awards for 2012 in a ceremony at the Sheraton Bangalore Hotel on July 17. This year, winners included Elektronika Sales Pvt. Ltd., WPG Electronics, Arrow Electronics, Inc., and Future Electronics.
Since 2008, Vishay Components India has been recognizing the outstanding contributions of its distributors in an annual awards ceremony. The Distributor Awards are presented in five categories: Distributor of the Year, Highest Revenue, Fastest Growing Distributor, Highest NBOs (new business opportunities), and Excellence in Key Customer Alignment.
For 2012, Elektronika Sales was named as the Distributor of the Year based on its overall sales record, business development, and volume deals. With the highest sales in India, the company also took home the Highest Revenue Award. The Fastest Growing Distributor Award is given to the company with the largest business gain during the previous year. For 2012, the award went to WPG Electronics. Arrow Electronics received the Highest NBOs Award for creating the most new business opportunities, while Future Electronics received the Excellence in Key Customer Alignment Award for its outstanding customer support and CRM.
