BOE Tech buying semiconductor equipment from Applied for making display panels

BOE Technology has ordered for advanced Gen 8.5 and Gen 5.5 flat-display-panel production equipment from Applied Materials for use in multiple facilities. Applied Materials is providing deposition equipment such as Applied PiVot PVD and PECVD systems supporting critical new technologies such as metal oxide and LTPS.
