Live Webinar on “3-Phase Energy Metering trends” by ADI on Jan 28 5PM IST

Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), to conduct a Live Webinar on “3-Phase Energy Metering trends” for the Energy meter market. The Webinar will cater to system designers from tariff and panel meter manufacturers, as well as utility and industrial companies and will explore the different system architectures of 3-phase electricity meter applications. The webinar will help participants understand the challenges, benefits and cost implications of choosing different system architectures, enabling them to make key decisions relating to energy metering.

The discussion will cover the differences between various current sensors and implications on the analog front, power supply and data isolation, metrology computations and system performance. Current Transformers (CTs), di/dt (Rogowski coils) and shunt resistors will also be discussed.

The Live Webinar will be presented on January 28, 2013 at 5 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) by Petre Minciunescu, PhD., Systems Engineer of the Energy Metering Group at Analog Devices.
