Imagination demos connected home products powered by its IP at CES 2013

Imagination Technologies is demonstrating the connectivity and cloud technologies for connected home applications at CES 2013 (LVCC South Hall 4 Suite S215).

Imagination says its MetaFlow Connected Processor platforms for the connected home combine Imagination’s Meta processor, Ensigma connectivity and Flow Cloud technologies to offer a complete technology platform, enabling chip designers to create the most compelling connected home products.

Tony King-Smith, VP marketing, Imagination says "The market was telling us that the proliferation of standards and the convergence of home products were both driving a rethink of how devices must evolve to take advantage of connectivity in the Cloud era. That has been a focus of Imagination for some time now as we worked out how to enable new applications in the connected home, including not only entertainment but also home automation, security, smart energy, personal health and more. As all of these markets begin taking advantage of significantly enhanced functionality enabled by Imagination’s latest Cloud and connectivity technologies consumers will be able to figuratively ‘live in the Cloud’ as everything from cars to toasters become connected to both the internet and each other.”
