Agilent Technologies tops in Wireless test market

Agilent Technologies Inc. announced it has received this year's Frost & Sullivan award for market-share leadership in global wireless test equipment.

"Agilent's huge success can be attributed to its broad product line, which caters to a major part of the wireless communications market," said Olga Yashkova, program manager at Frost & Sullivan. "Moreover, its extensive focus on research and development combined with its ability to develop products in line with market requirements has earned the company an exceptional level of customer loyalty."

Agilent offers test equipment for base station and mobile device testing for both design and manufacturing test. Design test solutions include SystemVue Electronic System-Level design software. Component testing tools include Signal Studio software used to configure test signals for use on Agilent vector signal generators such as the MXG, and 89600B VSA (vector signal analysis) software.

For base station testing, X-Series signal analyzers offer four performance levels for the PXA (ideal for the most demanding power-amplifier testing) and the MXA. These analyzers are available with the latest measurement applications, including LTE-Advanced FDD and TDD. Mobile device testing is supported on the 8960 series and its mobile test applications.

Test solutions from Agilent include LTE, LTE-Advanced, MIMO, WiMAX, RFID, WLAN, Bluetooth and others.
