Aava Mobile uses AWR's Microwave Office in its PCB design flow

Aava Mobile uses AWR's Microwave Office high-frequency design software in its printed circuit board (PCB) design flow to simulate the critical tracks/traces of its products. AWR says since AWR's models are highly accurate, thanks to years of vetting by Nokia, Aava is able to achieve right-the-first-time design of its open mobile device platform PCBs.

"Because we are a young start-up, design time and cycles are critical and it is important for us to succeed on the first round," said Sami Kolanen, RF specialist at Aava Mobile Oy. "The ease-of-use of the software, simulation speed, and accuracy of models in Microwave Office gave us confidence for the first build."
